Jacobsen Truckster gets Makeover

Smiles are everywhere with the complete makeover of the Truckster: last done  around 2000.

This isn't your father's truckster; this one has plenty of room up front with a new look and new engine platform.

The passenger area is 25% larger than the competition; letting you stretch out a bit. Suspension seats are an option; but remember it's use on a golf course...gonna get loaded with a lot of sand, dirt and gravel. That stuff is a nightmare on the seat slides.

They took into account some little things; like, what happens if the lift valve for the box goes bad? Answer = the top of the shifter console comes off; allowing easy access for repair.

The engine platform gives stability with Kubota engines; the gas is a 32 hp EFI with 51.6 ft-lbs torque; and the diesel is 24.8 hp with 52.7 ft-lbs torque.

The box is bigger; with 20% more volume then the competition. It also comes with 12  guage steel; which is thicker than the others. Both gas and diesel models come in 2WD & 4WD configurations. There's plenty of accessories available; and those who have a Core Harvester collecting dust you're in luck. It's STILL available! Which means it will mate up with this Truckster and your harvester will have access to parts for years to come. The Cushman name has been relegated to the EZ GO guys; the latest iteration an ATV...

What intrigued me the most in San Antonio was the setup with the LED Screens to show the promo video for the Truckster. Now.....R & D and Marketing get together; EZ GO already has a 72 volt AC drive system available...maybe use the Samsung Lith-Ion modular pack and beef up the differential... add Wi-Fi hotspot, now you have a silent mobile Leaderboard that can traverse the course at a Tournament where your equipment is featured...hell, make 2 or 3 of them....
