Precise Path has removed the tether from its RG3 robot mower; and has delivered the first ones to the public.

. Canongate Golf, which owns and operates 23 courses in the greater Atlanta area, has received 2 units which will be used at Olde Atlanta Golf Club. Since debuting in New Orleans 2 years ago, some noticeable changes have been made.

Standard is the 48V lead-acid battery setup rated at 4 hours. Optional is the Lithium-ion Battery rated at 7 hours.  Back in ’09 it showed a Toro DPA cutting unit on the business end; this year it sports the latest John Deere 22” cutting unit.

Also available now is the TM System from Advanced Turf Technologies; incorporating multiple cassettes; including reel, groomer, vibratory roller and spiker with easy change out. A front roller scraper and traction drum brush are also available. A trailer exclusively designed for robot transport is also available.
