Toro adds full-size DPA cutting units to "Sidewinder" fairway mower

Not content with just 18" cutting units on it's Reelmaster 3550 base model, Toro has unleashed full-width DPA cutting units to 2 new models.

22" cutting units are now available for a 100" cut; the same as other Toro fairway mowers. The RM 3555 has 5" diameter reels in 8 blade radial design configuration or 11 blade forward swept configuration. The 11 blade setup is more aggressive and for .25" to .75" HOC; and the 8 blade setup is less agressive and for heights greater than .50". The reel motors are the same as the RM 3550 as well as the RM 5410.

This is the RM 3575; 7 the designation for 7" diameter reels. This unit has a taller frame compared to the 3550 & 3555 to accomodate the height difference in the cutting units. The reel motors are bigger than the 3550 & 3555; due to the increased diameter. The cutting units are available in 8 or 11 blade configuration also.

All 3 models have the Kubota D1105 engine; a mainstay in Toro equipment the last couple of decades. All the cutting units offer all the options such as groomers, brushes etc. Weight of the RM 3555 is 2280 lbs. and 2550 lbs. for the RM 3575.
