Toro is upgrading the older fixed-head greens walkers; the GR 800 and 1000/1600; as well as renaming the Flex ... All the walking greensmowers will now have the Subaru engine; meeting the regulations and are CARB compliant. I think the engine alone has a 3 yr. warranty. For the GR 800...

The control console is the same as the GR 1000. That means a new parking brake lever; as well as on/off switch for the engine. Now standard when ordering is a 14 blade reel, narrow whiele roller for the front; a less aggressive bedbar and an Edgemax Micro bedknife. The 11 blade reel and groomer are options.

Flex

The Flex 21 is now rebadged a 2100; 2100 for the gas; eFlex 2100 for the electric. The old Flex 18 is now Flex 1800 & the electric is eFlex 1800.  The drive coupler to the cutting unit is now telescoping; making it easier to install/remove the cutting unit. There's a pin added to the kickstand so you can engage the kickstand half-way; the traction unit doesn't fall back and hit the handlebars when removing the cutting unit. Below the handlebar is another bar to help raise the kickstand. For each reel available(8, 11, 14) there are 6 FOC(Frequency of Clip) settings available; all shown on a chart inside the reel drive belt shield. It has an operator presence handle now; it has to be engaged to go to mow or transport.

The battery has a full 2 yr. warranty(819 kW hours); years 3-5 are pro-rated.

Attention!

The new Flexes will not fit on the current TransPro trailers. The upgrade kits will accept old & new Flexes.
