Jacobsen Golf Becomes Major Partner of IGCEMA Virtual Trade Show

Rapid City, South Dakota - -November 10, 2009-- The IGCEMA would like to announce that Jacobsen has become the third major partner of the golf industries first Virtual Trade Show (VTS). The Virtual Trade Show is becoming a much anticipated event that is set to take off live on March 18th 2010.
The association’s founder and virtual trade show developer Stephen Tucker stated, “We have been working with Jacobsen and Ransomes Jacobsen in the UK for many years now and they have supported us every step of the way. Having them as the sponsor of our prestigious Edwin Budding award, website sponsor and seeing them do the same for our Virtual Trade Show really shows Jacobsen’s commitment to support our industry and the associations which help build it.”
Dan Wilkinson, president of Jacobsen said,
“At Jacobsen we see the golf course technician as an integral part of the golf management team. That’s why when designing new equipment such as our latest hybrid greens mower – the Eclipse 322 – we not only consider the guy sitting on the machine, but also those in the maintenance facility who ensure they perform, day in, day out. We’ve supported IGCEMA since its inception and are delighted to continue this support by partnering with the industry’s first Virtual Trade Show.”
David Withers added,
“Trade shows such as GIS in the USA and our BTME Show here in the UK certainly have their place in our marketing calendar and are a great opportunity to showcase our products. However, they come with significant expense to exhibitors and are resource intensive. The Virtual Trade Show is exciting and innovative and we are delighted to stand beside IGCEMA and support their new initiative.”
