After a brief hiatus, Jacobsen is back in the big aerator business.
Jacobsen brought 3 new aerator to the show; capable of deep & shallow aerating at the same time; without the use of turf guards. They have a 72" working width; and models to accomodate a 25, 30 and 45hp tractor.
The GA 600 shown here is capable of deep tining to 11" and shallow to 7". The geometry of the crankshaft & tine arms allows for vertical entry of the tines into the ground.
These are called "cluster" tines. It's essentially a tine block bolted onto the existing tine arm. The shallow tines installed are 3" apart and this allows operation without turf guards. Deep & shallow at the same time...
Another look at the spacing on the cluster tine.
